Job Summary

Join our friendly team at Kilnwood Vale as a Nursery Office Administrator and help keep everything running smoothly - this permanent part-time role (24 hours a week) is perfect for someone organised and passionate about supporting early years education.

Your opportunity

In this role youll work closely with the school leadership and nursery team to manage all aspects of nursery administration - from coordinating admissions and maintaining accurate records to ensuring timely invoicing and funding claims. Youll play a key part in keeping our nursery running smoothly by managing databases monitoring staff ratios and liaising with parents to fill places efficiently. The role also involves handling Local Authority funding processes completing census data and keeping our nursery information up to date online. If youre organised detail-oriented and passionate about supporting early years education wed love to hear from you.

What were looking for:

  • Good General Education including English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
  • Appropriate experience in administration (school/nursery setting would be desirable)
  • Advance IT skills including experience working with MS office applications
  • Able to plan and prioritise regular and irregular tasks
  • An effective communicator and ability to remain professional and maintain confidentiality at all times

The Details

Start Date: 1st December 2025

Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 23651 to Point 5 23937

Actual Salary: 13564.54 to 13728.57 (DOE)

Hours: The successful candidate will be required to start work at 08:30 a.m. each day. While the role is part-time (24 hours per week) there is flexibility in how these hours are distributed across the working week.
