Summary of Position:
This position exists to provide direct care services and to administer medications to the individuals supported. This position incorporates the new role of medication administration per QMAP regulations
Duties of the position:
Implementation Of Individual Program Plan
Under the direction of the LPT LPN RN and within the scope of training provided: administers and documents residential therapy medical and behavior related objectives as identified in the IPP of persons served. Administers oxygen over-the-counter treatments and monitors feeding pumps. Some of these activities involve lifting and/or pivoting individuals. Transports (drives) individuals to their day program site medical appointments court hearings and/or community activities. Protects the rights of persons served and enhances their quality of life.

This position requires State of Colorado residency at the time of application (unless otherwise identified in the posting) and residency within the state throughout the duration of employment in this position.
Motor Vehicle Check if the employee will drive a state-owned vehicle either in an ongoing capacity while performing their normal day-to-day job duties OR on occasion for training/meetings/client visits/etc.
Must possess a valid non-restricted Colorado Drivers License or a non-restricted U.S. Drivers License for positions within 30 miles of the CO state border
Out-of-State Drivers License holders must obtain a valid non-restricted Colorado Drivers License within 30 days of employment start date.
