Job Title: Mixed Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6/7

Rate: 2533 per hour
Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend)
Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a dynamic service in London providing support across both special school and mainstream educational settings. You will work with primary and secondary-aged students delivering high-quality assessment and intervention for children and young people with a range of speech language and communication needs (SLCN).
This position offers a diverse caseload giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference across multiple educational environments. Whether youre an experienced Band 6 therapist looking to develop your expertise or an established Band 7 seeking a new challenge this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving communication outcomes for children and young people.
In this role you will:
Assess diagnose and manage a range of communication and language difficulties in children and young people.
Provide both direct and indirect therapy within mainstream and specialist school settings.
Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary professionals to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards and service policies.
Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings reviews and training sessions as required.
Support the development of communication-friendly environments within the school community.
To be considered for this role you must have:
A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Previous experience working with paediatric populations ideally across both mainstream and special school settings.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
A flexible and proactive approach to service delivery.
