As a Delivery Driver your primary responsibility will be to pick up and deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner. You must represent the company in a professional manner and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers product to specified locations making deliveries in the most efficient economical manner possible
- Maintains an efficient routing system
- Ensures sales tickets are completed
- Maintains an organized and efficient loading and unloading system
- Unloads merchandise according to customers requests
- Verifies all items listed on the sales ticket are loaded and delivered
- Provides the customer with an accurate sales ticket and collects payment if needed
- Provides customer service that will result in greater sales by greeting customers promptly and courteously helping unload/load products and working with customers to resolve problems
- Maintains a professional appearance which includes wearing a clean uniform
- Delivers orders safely by following regulations safely operating and maintaining the delivery vehicle and using extreme caution while driving
- Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers
- Exhibits a commitment to punctual and regular attendance for all assigned shifts
- Contributes positively to a team environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Professional experience highly preferred
- Must have a clean driving record (less than 3 moving violations in a 3-year period; no DUI/DWI in a 5-year period)
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must have a current valid drivers license in this state
- Must be able to read white and perform simple math
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Must be willing and able to be exposed to dirt and dust fumes temperature extremes dampness and battery acid on a regular basis
- Must be willing and able to wear the required safety/PPE when performing duties which includes steel toe shoes and protective gloves when handling batteries
- Neat and clean appearance
