As our Senior Accountant you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting support business unit decision-making and drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automationwhile upholding IFRS standards and contributing to a collaborative high-performance finance team.
What youll do:
- Timely and Accurate Reporting: Ensure month-end close reconciliations and financial statements are completed accurately and on schedule in compliance with IFRS.
- Process Ownership: Maintain and improve accounting processes leveraging automation tools (e.g. Power Automate BlackLine Copilot Alteryx) to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Audit & Compliance Support: Prepare audit schedules respond to auditor inquiries and uphold internal controls and compliance standards.
- Mentorship & Team Support: Support junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing contributing to a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a reliable finance partner to business units providing insights resolving issues and supporting strategic initiatives.
What you have:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in generative AI tools to streamline financial reporting automate routine tasks and accelerate personal productivity.
- Keen interest in solving problems and identifying process improvements.
- Proven ability to collaborate and manage BU partner relationships.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and able to humbly communicate messages.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
