About the team
Our Regional Assets business are responsible for managing the maintenance and reliability of our rail network ensuring it is safe and reliable for regional Queensland customers communities and industries.
This position is based at ourToowoomba Depotwithin the Resurfacing team. The team has a Supervisor Team Leader Maintenance Fitter and 3 Operator Maintainers. Together they work to cover the regions from Toowoomba to Charleville Toowoomba to Thallon and complete occasional work from Townsville to Mount Isa and Emerald to Winton.
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for track maintenance including operating and maintaining all plant and equipment used by the Resurfacing team.
We are seeking self-motivated Operators or Labourers with experience in operating civil or mobile plant machinery who are interested in broadening their industry experience.
Responsibilities include:
We promote development in our team and in addition to the above-mentioned training you will have the opportunity to increase your salary by gaining relevant machine tickets CAT3 Driver qualifications and other applicable competencies.
