The Seasonal Parking Attendant Cashier is responsible for managing parking operations collecting payments assisting customers and ensuring smooth and efficient parking experience. This role requires strong customer service skills attention to detail and the ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately. Parking Attendant Cashiers must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working in fast-paced environments. As a seasonal employee there are no minimum hours guaranteed for any week or month.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups.
Collect parking fees using cash credit cards or electronic payment systems.
Issue tickets receipts and parking validations as needed.
Provide clear directions and information about parking policies rates and availability.
Ensure security by verifying authorized access and monitoring parked vehicles.
Maintain accurate financial records reconcile cash drawers and report discrepancies.
Assist customers with parking-related inquiries complaints or issues.
Keep the parking booth kiosk or work area clean and organized.
Communicate with supervisors and security personnel regarding incidents lost tickets or equipment malfunctions.
Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure parking environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Prior experience as a cashier parking attendant or customer service representative is preferred.
Strong math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge.
Reliable punctual and able to work flexible hours including weekends evenings and holidays.
