Headquartered in Norwood MA we are a family-centric business marking a significant trajectory of growth.The Warehouse Associate Level II is responsible for performing a broad range of operational support tasks to ensure the efficient flow of materials equipment and services across departments. This role reports directly to the Manager Inside Operations.Responsibilities- Deliver parts materials and equipment to customers and technicians within the service area ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a second set of hands during equipment deliveries and installations.
- Support Fleet Management activities:
- Coordinate vehicle service appointments and maintain service logs.
- Monitor inspection schedules and assist with tracking vehicle readiness.
- Support Facility Maintenance and Organization:
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of warehouse and storage areas.
- Complete basic facility maintenance and safety checks.
- Assist with breakdown staging and setup of new and used equipment.
- Lead or assist in unloading uncrating and staging of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Inventory Support:
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and assist with reconciliation of inventory variances.
- Ensure parts and materials are labeled stocked and rotated properly.
- Communicate stock shortages or discrepancies to the Inside Operations Manager.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and warehouse safety.
- Recommend and help implement best practices for storage shipping and receiving.
- Team Leadership:
- Assist in training and mentoring new Warehouse Helpers.
- Provide backup coverage for the Inside Operations team when needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training preferred.
- Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience (equipment service or parts environment preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- Must be capable of lifting lowering and carrying packages typically weighing 535 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Operates forklift and box truck safely and efficiently (DOT Medical card preferred).
