RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions basic math and adequate computer skills.
Ability to problem solve and carry out detailed but basic written and oral instructions.
Ability to perform job and communicate in noisy environment and at times stressful environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students staff and community.
Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
Must work in a safe and responsible manner as employee has greater than average risk of getting a minor injury such as a cut or burn while performing the duties of this job.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) previous experience with quantity food preparation and service.

. Assists with quantity of food preparation.

. Help with menu production of High School and Elementarys.

. Oversee production records and that they are in compliance.

. Submit food orders to the Food Service director weekly.

. Help with training of employees

. Act as direct supervisor to high school staff

. Communicate with the director about staffing and performance issues.

. Assist with safety and sanitation regulations.

. Assist with caterings

. Handle opening duties
