RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions basic math and adequate computer skills.
- Ability to problem solve and carry out detailed but basic written and oral instructions.
- Ability to perform job and communicate in noisy environment and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students staff and community.
- Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to meet deadlines with severe time constraints.
- Must work in a safe and responsible manner as employee has greater than average risk of getting a minor injury such as a cut or burn while performing the duties of this job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) previous experience with quantity food preparation and service.
. Assists with quantity of food preparation.
. Help with menu production of High School and Elementarys.
. Oversee production records and that they are in compliance.
. Submit food orders to the Food Service director weekly.
. Help with training of employees
. Act as direct supervisor to high school staff
. Communicate with the director about staffing and performance issues.
. Assist with safety and sanitation regulations.
. Assist with caterings
. Handle opening duties
