Summary: As a Snowflake Data Warehouse Application Lead you will play a pivotal role in driving the design development and optimization of enterprise-grade data solutions within a cloud-native environment. You will serve as the primary technical authority and strategic leader for Snowflake-based data warehouse initiatives ensuring alignment with business goals scalability and performance excellence. This role demands deep expertise in Snowflake strong leadership capabilities and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex data challenges. You will be responsible for shaping data architecture fostering innovation and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data products that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. Location: Chennai/Pune Experience: 6-9 years Responsibilities: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Snowflake Data Warehouse solutions and lead technical strategy. Lead and mentor a team of data professionals guiding technical decisions and fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate with business stakeholders data engineers and application teams to define prioritize and deliver data requirements. Oversee the full lifecycle of data warehouse projects from design and implementation to monitoring and optimization. Drive problem resolution across teams providing scalable and sustainable technical solutions. Promote knowledge sharing best practices and standardized processes within the team and across departments. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining high standards of data quality security and performance. Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse with a proven track record in enterprise implementations. 69 years of total professional experience in data engineering data warehousing or related technical roles. Expertise in cloud-based data architecture with a strong command of Snowflakes core capabilities (e.g. virtual warehouses data sharing security and performance tuning). Proficiency in SQL and advanced data modeling techniques for large-scale data environments. Experience with ETL/ELT processes and integration with data pipelines using tools such as Informatica Talend or AWS Glue. Strong understanding of data governance security models and compliance standards in cloud data platforms. Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (15 years of full-time education required). Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and influencing cross-functional initiatives.
