About the role
Evoenergy is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Principal Automation Systems Engineer to manage and evolve our SCADA and substation automation systems. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping the long-term strategy overseeing asset planning and delivering complex technical solutions that support the reliability and performance of our network. Youll lead a team of engineers and technicians drive innovation in automation technologies and ensure compliance with industry standards and cyber security protocols.
As a senior technical leader you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining standards procedures and specifications for SCADA and IEC 61850-based systems. Youll be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of our SCADA program of work including augmentation asset replacement and maintenance. Your expertise will guide the design commissioning and integration of advanced automation systems across Evoenergys infrastructure supporting both operational excellence and customer outcomes.
