Assistant Manager()
The Academic Registry is now looking for a passionate dynamic and experienced person to perform administrative duties in the Admissions Office.
Responsibilities:
- Support various admission schemes of undergraduate programmes for the admission of local and non-local students;
- Assist in the planning and coordination of outreach activities locally and outside Hong Kong. Frequent travel to overseas and Mainland is required;
- Support the update and maintenance of the Admissions Information System;
- Provide support to applicants and Faculties / Schools in the recruitment and admission processes as well as taking up the role of liaison with different units within and outside the University;
- Prepare and compile statistical analysis and reports;
- Support the development of a new website for the Admissions Office; and
- Support the implementation of the new digital transformation project for admission.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree plus at least five years of post-qualification work experience. Candidates with less experience may also be considered;
- Previous work experiences in the tertiary education sector especially in student recruitment and admissions will be a definite advantage;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Be people-oriented open to new ideas with good analytical interpersonal presentation and communication skills as well as possess the ability to work independently and under pressure; and
- Candidates with high level of IT proficiency and experiences in statistical analysis and supporting computer systems will be an added asset.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
