Job Summary
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Lower Buckeye Jail Infirmary Phoenix AZ
Schedule: Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks
About the Role
AtWork is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position is ideal for a dependable and compassionate professional dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a secure medical environment.
Responsibilities
Provide care within the scope of CNA practice under the supervision of medical or nursing personnel
Prepare patients for exams and treatments record vital signs and document patient information
Perform venipuncture lab tests and assist with office procedures
Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Maintain exam/procedure rooms and ensure supplies are adequately stocked
Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments
Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Qualifications
- Current valid unrestricted CNA license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State
-Current PSV verification from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (License Lookup)
- Current fit testing for N95 particulate respirators
- Current First Aid Certification
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a CNA
