Point72s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing reconciliation financing and reporting firmwide for all products including equities derivatives bonds foreign exchange and futures and digital assets across global markets.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Performdaily and monthly P&L reconciliationsbetween frontoffice and backoffice systems for the firms global portfolios.
• Partner withMiddle Office Back Office and Valuationsteams to investigate and resolve P&L breaks across all asset classes including equities fixed income and derivatives.
• Produce clear accuratedaily P&L variance reportsand communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Finalize portfolio manager P&Lin our frontoffice systems based on thorough variance checks calculations and analyses to directly influence investment decisions investor statements and compensation processes.
• Respond to P&L inquiries from portfolio managers traders and investment services colleagues providing fast insightful answers.
• Driveprocess improvements and automation initiativesto enhance accuracy control speed and efficiency in P&L reconciliation analysis.

WHATS REQUIRED

• Finance/business/economics/mathematics or related background required
• 3 years experience in product control or operations at a hedge fund or bank
• Knowledge of financial instruments
• Previous experience with business intelligence tools or process automation
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail aimed at delivering a product that meets our best-in-class standards
