Description
Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Master Scheduler
Pay range: $75000 - $90000 annually
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm *onsite*
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Maintain production schedules through the ERP system by managing inputs and outputs.
- Track progression of jobs investigate issues affecting schedule and act as necessary.
- Collaborate with production leads to understand department capacity / labor restraints and adjust schedule accordingly.
- Provide accurate production forecasts for Sales Contract and Planning departments.
- Manage and update promise dates for all jobs as job schedules are affected.
- Review job requirements (materials run times outside processing lead times tooling and resource requirements) to ensure jobs are prepositioned to run through work centers efficiently.
- Ensure that resource allocations for internal product lines and prototypes are balanced with contracted work.
- Track revenue projections to ensure financial goals are attained and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Generate and analyze production metrics.
- Perform other duties as required by the organization.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Familiarity with ERP system(s).
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes (milling welding composites etc.)
- Knowledge of scheduling production work centers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Exceptional time management attention to detail and organizational practices.
- Ability to understand inputs and generate functional outputs.
- Data analysis abilities is a plus.
Experience: 2 years of master scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills California is a veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing founded in 1984. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning sheet metal fabrication welding assembly autoclave and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military Boeing Lockheed Sikorsky etc.
