Scope:
The Shift Mechanic (Overnight) is part of the Engineering Team and is responsible for efficiently maintaining all hotel operations such that safety security conversation and compliance are ensured at the highest levels. The shift mechanic maintains the guest rooms public spaces and back of house areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including but not limited to carpentry plumbing electrical air conditioning painting wall covering and masonry to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
This position is required to provide support during the overnight shift from Midnight to 8 am.
Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Shift Mechanic you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel including general property maintenance energy conservation are working properly and to standard. You are also responsible for the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering as required for hotel standards. Specifically a Shift Mechanic will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
