Job Summary

We are working on behalf of a leading international firm to recruit a Business & Practice Development Specialist supporting the firms Finance & Financial Services practice group. This role offers a unique opportunity to integrate practice management with business development driving strategic pitches and proposals coordinating high-impact events and advancing key marketing and client development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Group Support: Build trusted relationships with Finance and Financial Services lawyers and leadership across offices providing proactive business and practice development support identifying growth opportunities analyzing group performance tracking budgets and implementing initiatives that advance the firms business objectives.
  • Event Coordination and Execution: Collaborate across departments to plan coordinate and execute client-facing and internal events. Manage logistics vendor client and internal communications and post-event follow-up to strengthen client relationships.
  • Proposal and Pitch Development: Draft tailored compelling and responsive pitches proposals and RFP responses that effectively position the firm to secure new business opportunities. Maintain and update pitch templates to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
  • Content and Data Management: Track and maintain matters and deals in the firms knowledge management system to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Maintain and update practice-related content including experience lists practice and matter descriptions.
  • Directory Rankings: Coordinate legal directories by managing timelines reference lists and collecting experience. Gather matters for inclusion in directories and assist in drafting directory submissions documents.

Credentials and Expertise:

  • Educational Background: A bachelors degree is required.
  • Experience:A minimum of 3 years of marketing business development or related experience preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Capabilities: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels a keen eye for detail and proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment demonstrating both independent initiative and effective teamwork.
