Position Description: Epoxy/Paint Operator

As an Epoxy/Paint Operator at LayerZero Power Systems you will be responsible for the preparation coating and finishing of metal components and enclosures used in high-performance power distribution systems. Your work will directly contribute to the durability safety and appearance of mission-critical equipment.

Primary Duties:

Prepare parts by masking cleaning sanding and bead blasting

Apply epoxy or paint using proper mixing ratios and techniques

Operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately

Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met

Read and follow build specs safety data sheets (SDS) and digital instructions

Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards

Assist teammates with setup troubleshooting and process improvements

Use PPE and tools correctly and follow all safety guidelines

Skills & Experience:

Experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work

Comfortable using hand tools and working with small parts

Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods

Able to bend squat kneel climb and reach as needed

Good hand-eye coordination and vision for detailed inspection

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent
