Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming (H&PTW) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Buffalo and Sheridan Wyoming. Were looking for a motivated clinician who is eager to grow professionally and build meaningful connections within the community and with fellow healthcare professionals.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for upper extremity rehabilitation and the opportunity to develop or advance hand therapy skills through mentorship. Youll have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with a team of highly experienced therapists who provide ongoing mentorship and support. At H&PTW we emphasize teamwork continuous learning and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Job duties include evaluation/re-evaluation developing an appropriate plan of care and providing evidenced-based treatment methods to assist patients in returning to prior level of function. Furthermore the physical therapist is required to maintain accurate up to date documentation and billing. Comprehensive knowledge of the structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and experience with various post-operative protocols and wound care experience is preferred. We encourage and financially support specialty certifications and fellowship training. This is an excellent opportunity to work with highly skilled therapists in a dynamic and refreshing environment with 1:1 care provided to our patients on a 4060-minute schedule. Compensation can be negotiated based on experience certifications and specialties.
Qualifications :
- Proven work or clinical experience as a physical therapist
- Previous experience in treating upper extremities and hand therapy or special interest in this area; mentorship will be provided!
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice physical therapy (willing to work with limited license until full licensure comes through)
- Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
