Job Title: Program Manager (LMSW/LCSW) - Psych Crisis Respite (Rivington) - Full Time - Day
The Program Manager is responsible for the daily management and oversight of the Crisis Respite a short-term (up to 28 days) therapeutic stay in an unlocked yet secure setting that promotes rapid stabilization of crises to prevent emergency visits/hospitalizations as well as enable rapid and safe transition from an inpatient level if care to the community.
The Program Manager will directly supervise all professional and para-professional staff with the exception of RNs and Psychiatrist and oversee the operation of the program.
Clinical/Technical/Service
Oversees all program activities to assure fidelity/adherence to OMH Guidelines
Directs and supervises staff activities
Supervises client recruitment assessment and service planning
Supervises programming and milieu activities for clients
Coordinates and collaborates with RNs and Psychiatrists
Available after hours for on-call supervision
Provides oversight to assure the rules and regulations of the ICR are adhered to by clients and assures required staffing needs are met
Supervises the Administrative Assistant to assure billing is monitored and oversees follow-up of denials
Responsible for maintenance of medical reports
Prepares reports as required by the state and department
Interfaces with diverse community organizations and presents the Crisis Respite to the community
Oversees preparation for annual NYC site survey and OMH survey. Lead team in survey process
Organizational/Managerial
Participates in the departments performance improvement activities
Maintains patient/employee confidentiality in the management of information
Observes the Health Care Systems compliance policies
Leads organizational and service planning meetings
Oversees billing monitors % of billable services oversees follow-up of denials
Oversees and manages staff time off to ensure adequate coverage and productivity requirements
Supervises Administrative Assistant
Maintains knowledge of OMH regulations for Crisis Respite . leads survey preparation and corrective action implementation
Assures that all staff are trained on matters related to Crisis Respite including but not limited to Recovery and Wellness Substance Use
Recruits staff and discipline of staff
Educational/Professional Development
Participates in the development of other staff members
Meets regulatory licensure and annual health assessment requirements
Identifies learning strengths and needs
Utilizes learning resources
Attends required OMH trainings. Add additional Communication/Relationship skills here

Demonstrates a professional courteous and respectful attitude in dealing with patients families and significant others
Displays courtesy tact and patience during interactions with all members of the hospital staff and extended community

Education Requirements
Masters Degree in Social Work LCSW preferred
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years clinical experience required
Experience treating persons with severe and persistent mental illness and/or co-morbid SPMI/SUD
Ability/experience with managing interdisciplinary staff
Ability to interface with diverse community organizations
Excellent leadership and advocacy skills
Supervisory experience three years preferred
Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable)
LCSW preferred
LMSW Considered

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $78884.00 - $118326.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
