Pay: $25.63/hour

Your Role:

As a OCB Team Lead you will be responsible for quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise during production such as equipment malfunctions quality control problems or safety concerns ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency in a fast-paced blown film extrusion and packaging operation.

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

• Answer team members calls for help.
• Restore process flow.
• Analyze data process and production with leadership to support continuous improvement.
• Lead Changeovers and setup equipment for different product sizes.
• Troubleshoot make adjustments and make minor mechanical repairs.
• Lead standardized work.
• Work with QA to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Train new operators.
• Solve problems (not to include grievances or discipline).
• Maintain production and processes and visual displays.
• Fill in for problems re-balance absence etc...
• Perform duties of the jobs in the team.

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Safety - Understand and carry out oral instructions; read and carry out written instructions.
• Ability to retain and act on oral instructions.
• Ability to observe and read instruments gauges dials and make adjustments.
• Ability to estimate size and quantity of objects.
• Ability to constantly observe for quality defects as well as subtle problems with machine.
• Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Icing on the cake:

• Experience with packaging lines films etc
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively
• Demonstrated ability to make quick sound decisions under pressure
• 5 years manufacturing experience.
