AVP / VP - Insurance
Location: Dublin
Type: Permanent
An established aviation leasing and finance platform is seeking an experienced Insurance professional to join its Commercial Negotiation & Execution function in Dublin.
This role plays a key part in supporting aircraft leasing financing trading restructuring OEM procurement and capital markets transactions. The successful candidate will take ownership of aviation and non-aviation insurance matters across the transaction lifecycle and ongoing portfolio management working closely with internal stakeholders customers insurers and brokers globally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day insurance support across leasing financing trading and asset management activities
Monitor airline compliance with insurance obligations including renewals and claims management
Procure and manage aviation and non-aviation insurance programmes
Support transaction teams during origination LOI and documentation stages
Liaise with insurers brokers customers and internal stakeholders
Maintain and enhance insurance systems data and reporting
Contribute to the firms risk management framework through robust structuring and documentation
Participate in ad-hoc projects and occasional travel as required
Experience & Requirements
35 years experience in aviation leasing/financing insurance or risk management
Strong technical insurance knowledge with a commercial mindset
Experience supporting cross-border transactions
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced international environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Insurance qualifications or formal training are advantageous
Strong MS Office skills (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
