• Performs moderate to marginally advanced testing troubleshooting and repairing of defective computer systems.
• Performs moderate to advanced configuration jobs with minimal to no assistance from Senior Technicians and Leads while following Work Instruction Documents (WIDs).
• Ensures that hardware/software installed on customers system is compatible and at the desired version level. Provides assistance and support to Technician 1 and Imaging and Installation Tech as possible.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Degree requirements
Associates Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience

Certifications

CompTIA A Certification and/or Network Server etc

Required Competencies

• Technical apptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with abiltiy to create a document or simple spreadsheet
• Strong knowledge of and the ability to identify components and software used in computers
• Technology troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
