Description
As a Driveryou will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods within local regional and potentially long-haul routes. While driving is a significant part of the role this is a physically demanding position that requires significant manual labor in addition to operating the vehicle. The CDL-A Driver will adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations company policies and safety procedures.
What you need to be considered:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with dry van refrigerated and flatbed trailers preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and hours-of-service regulations.
- Physically fit: able to lift 50 pounds climb in/out of the truck and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with load securement heavy machine hauling and/or construction is a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
