Job Summary

$35.92 - $53.88

A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II-Home Care to join our team. Speech Language Pathologist II-Home Care assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments in a home care setting. Conducts evaluations of an individuals speech and language skills using applicable diagnostic materials and tools. Develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches strategies and materials. Establishes treatment priorities that include advising educating and counseling. Completes required documentation to record assessment and progress. Collaborates with physicians family members and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies.

Education Qualifications

  • Graduate (e.g. masters or doctorate) from an accredited Speech Pathology program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.

Experience Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as Speech Language Pathologist is required.

Certifications Licenses and Registrations

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.
  • Board Certification (e.g. BCS-CL etc.) which meets rigorous standards of maintenance or certification is preferred.
