Basic Job Functions:

TheThread lineTeam Leader is responsible for overseeing all Thread line operations as well as maintaining the overall quality of the product.

Complete all shift reports for the day
Performs hourly inspections of the tubing
Consolidates data for chaser usage
Oversees the set-up adjustments and change overs for all equipment of the machine
Performs preventative maintenance on the machine when necessary
Handles and disposes of all hazardous material created and zinc contaminated dust filters

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in a production environment
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 year of leading a team in a Manufacturing/Industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Significant work and understanding of Thread lineprocess
Ability to work in a team environment with strong positive communication skills
Basic knowledge of Warehouse Operations including Overhead Cranes and Lift Trucks
