Position Overview
The Welcome Center is responsible for supervising the Club entrance greeting caregivers and guests
answering phone calls ensuring accurate attendance records and data entry.
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise entrance to ensure security and adherence to organizational policies.
- Welcome and greet caregivers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate attendance is maintained and perform data entry tasks accurately efficientlyand in a timely manner for safety of members.
- Handle incoming phone calls and ensure that callers receive a warm prompt and professionalgreeting that conveys an attitude of helpfulness and welcome.
- Contribute to maintaining a healthy safe clean and well-maintained environment.
- Supervise Club members as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to align goals and strategies and to foster aculture of cooperation and teamwork.
- Engage in continuous learning and contribute to the effective implementation of continuousimprovement processes.
- Support the ethical use of data to make decisions in a timely and informed manner.
- Represent the organization to the community in a way that enhances the organizations profilebuilds its reputation supports its strategic priorities and advances its mission.
- Contribute to operational goals and objectives that align with and advance the organizationsstrategic priorities.
- Strive to meet and surpass the expectations of youth families staff volunteers Board fundersand other key stakeholders.
- Focus efforts on promoting equity engaging in trauma-informed and continuous improvementpractices and doing what is needed to help the communities the organization serves becomegreat places for all children and youth to grow and thrive.
- Ensure current safety practices meet or exceed organizational requirements.
- Support the implementation of new or amended policies practices and processes that furthermitigate and minimize safety risks.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence aligning your efforts with the organizations valuesmission strategic priorities and policies.
- Participate in available coaching opportunities regular one-on-one meetings with supervisorperformance evaluations and goal setting.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and development by following talent developmentrequirements and creating and following a professional development plan.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The Welcome Center requires a majority combination of the following:
Education and Experience
- At least 2 years experience in data entry outcome measurement and/or customer relations.
- Demonstrated record of aptitude with basic office software and accurate data entry skills.
Skills and Requirements
- Ability to input data with precision and attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Capacity to notice discrepancies or inconsistencies in data and rectify them promptly.
- Ability to exude confidence and maintain control of a safe and positive youth developmentenvironment.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey information in a timely open andclear manner.
- Reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of and ability to effectively use computers software and other technology tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
