Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Heavy Duty Cleaner / Floor Tech maintains the cleanliness of the property by completing special projects and caring for casino carpets linoleum and marble.
Shift: 4am - 12:30pm (Friday Saturday Sunday)
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Strips and waxes floors to include baseboards.
- Shampoos and spot cleans carpeted areas.
- Uses extractor equipment floor scrubbers and shampoo machines polishing machines special vacuum cleaners and scrubbers.
- Moves office equipment and items as directed.
- Cleans interior and exterior windows.
- Cleans signage light fixtures vents decorative greenery railings artwork and elevators.
- Operates lifts and adheres to all safety standards.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural ques.
- Must present a well-groomed professional appearance.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required experience as a cleaner or equivalent.
- Must be a least 21 years of age.
- Preferred previous janitorial experience.
- Preferred knowledge of HAZZ COMM and BBP.
- Must possess strong people skills and problem-solving ability.
- Must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of cleaning chemicals cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $19.60 Per Hour
