Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a Structural Inspector you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of buildings and structures throughout the region. This position requires a professional approach strong organizational skills and a cautious mindset to identify potential structural issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings bridges and other structures to assess their structural integrity and safety
- Identify and document structural defects damage or deterioration using advanced inspection techniques and equipment
- Prepare detailed inspection reports including observations findings and recommended corrective actions
- Analyze structural components and systems to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers architects and construction professionals to address structural concerns and implement solutions
- Perform risk assessments and recommend preventive maintenance measures to extend the lifespan of structures
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards safety regulations and inspection methodologies
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and contribute to the development of structural inspection databases
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures during all inspection activities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients stakeholders and team members on structural integrity matters
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of structural defects material behavior and deterioration mechanisms
- Familiarity with relevant inspection standards and safety regulations including local Saudi Arabian building codes
- Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent report writing abilities and proficiency in inspection software or asset management systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various site locations within the Riyadh region
- Physical ability to access and inspect various structural components sometimes in challenging environments
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professional integrity
