We are seeking an enthusiastic academically driven and committed Physics Teacher to join the Science faculty at a successful Media and Technology College/Academy located in the Hounslow area of West London.

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Physics specialist who excels at demonstrating the practical technological applications of physics (e.g. optics sound electricity) relevant to media engineering and digital industries. You will be joining a supportive environment where cross-curricular links with Media and DT are encouraged. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice particularly at the A-Level and contributing to the departments consistent record of placing students in STEM and technology-related courses.
To attract an exceptional candidate this role includes a generous Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of 2000 per annum. This financial incentive is a purely financial reward designed to support excellent teachers and their commitment to our school community.

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- A relevant degree in Physics or a closely related discipline (e.g. Engineering Electronics).
- A proven track record as an excellent Physics Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
- An ability to link theoretical physics concepts to real-world technology particularly in media and computing.
- The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
- The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Outer London Pay Scale (The Outer London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately 37870 as of September 2025).
- A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of 2000 per annum.
