Job Summary
A creative and well-respected secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an Art Technician to join their Visual Arts department immediately. This role would suit someone who is organised patient and comfortable working in a lively expressive studio environment.
Role Responsibilities
You will:
Prepare materials for lessons (paper inks canvases clay printmaking plates textiles)
Help set up and clear down studio spaces
Support students during practical work encouraging safe thoughtful technique
Manage stock levels and coordinate supply orders
Contribute to exhibition curation corridor displays and GCSE portfolio presentation
This is a role for someone who enjoys creative spaces and understands that good studio environments require care and structure.
