Were expanding our Quantitative Research Unit at D11Z. Ventures one of Europes largest single-LP Family Office VCs.

Were looking for a hands-on Quantitative Intern eager to apply AI and quantitative research to the world of Venture Capital.

If youre passionate about machine learning data-driven investing and startups this is your opportunity to work at the intersection of tech and finance and help redefine how we generate venture alpha.

Tasks

Develop and test quantitative models predicting startup success funding timing and sector momentum
Build and validate ML/NLP models using venture and market data
Create data automation pipelines (e.g. Pipedream Airflow custom APIs)
Evaluate alternative data sources to uncover new alpha signals
Collaborate with investors to turn data into actionable insights

Requirements

Masters student or Gap Year between Bachelor and Master (CS Physics Math or similar)
Strong skills in Python ML frameworks (PyTorch scikit-learn TensorFlow) and APIs (PostgREST / Supabase REST APIs)
Solid software engineering and data automation skills
Familiarity with Pipedream LangChain Hugging Face or Streamlit
Quantitative mindset and a passion for startups and venture capital
Good command of both German and English
Above all: hands-on curious builder mindset
