Job Summary

Role: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Chicago IL

Duration: Long-Term

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Design or specify equipment and custom tools for production needs.
Support new product launches change controls and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with cGMP FDA regulations and ISO standards.
Conduct audits equipment qualification and process validation activities.
Use CAD (Solid Edge/AutoCAD) and ERP (SAP/MP2) systems to support manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial or related).
Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing engineering.
Knowledge of cGMP equipment qualification and process validation.
CAD and ERP proficiency.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
