Pay Rate: USD $63.55 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures ensuring patient safety and maintaining high standards of clinical and technical excellence.
This position requires strong attention to detail technical expertise in radiologic imaging and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare examination rooms and necessary equipment for interventional radiology procedures.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Accurately position patients and equipment explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Input commands and scan parameters into imaging systems and monitor image quality throughout the procedure.

Monitor and assess patients during procedures ensuring adherence to safety and radiation protection protocols.

Produce and process diagnostic images and communicate critical findings to physicians promptly.

Maintain and organize daily procedural schedules ensuring readiness for emergencies or add-on cases.

Manage radiology supplies and ensure proper inventory control.

Perform routine maintenance and report malfunctions or repair needs on imaging equipment.

Handle administrative tasks including patient scheduling documentation and pre-procedure education.
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technician.

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.

Must have neuro-interventional experience.

Availability for 9-10 days of on-call duty per month (including the week of December 29).

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Strong communication problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Proven ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with advanced imaging technologies and digital PACS systems.

Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance.
