Job Summary
Position Overview
TKO Staff Pros LLC is partnering with a well-established company in the Tupelo area to recruit a Parts Identifier for their weld shop. This role is critical for ensuring accurate communication and understanding of weld requirements through proper identification of weld symbols and associated instructions.
The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting weld symbols and specifications ensuring that all fabrication work adheres to established welding codes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and interpret weld symbols reference lines and arrows to understand the type size and location of welds.
Distinguish between shop welds (performed in a controlled environment) and field welds (performed on-site).
Ensure all welds comply with Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Communicate accurately with engineers fabricators and inspectors to maintain consistency and quality in the welding process.
Support the fabrication team in performing tasks according to welding codes and standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience with Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).
Welding Certification preferred.
Strong understanding of welding symbols and fabrication documentation.
Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
