Provides daily professional administrative clerical and project coordination support. Maintains area files correspondence reports and other documentation. Coordinates completes and delivers required reporting. Tasks are varied and usually require area specific knowledge to complete work.


Description

Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road Columbia SC 29229-8320.

What Youll Do:

  • Types edits formats reviews and updates forms correspondence and reports.

  • Maintains area files and binders. Maintains area organizational charts job descriptions contact and mailing lists desk procedures and interoffice tracking logs. Maintains area specific reports or presentations.

  • Provides general clerical duties and administrative support including ordering supplies coordinating meeting functions arranging travel maintaining calendars and phone coverage for upper management.

  • Special projects as assigned.

To Qualify For This Position Youll Need The Following:

  • Required Education: Associates degree

  • Degree Equivalency: Two years of job related work experience or a combination of education and experience equal to 2 years

  • Required Work Experience: 5 years administrative support experience.

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal/written communication skills (grammar letter writing and phone skills). Organizational skills. Customer service skills. Good judgment. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Ability to multi-task.

  • Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office and other database software

We Prefer That You Have The Following:

  • Preferred Work Experience: 3 years of industry-specific work experience

  • Preferred Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of business area goals and objectives. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to use complex mathematical calculations. Ability to persuade negotiate or influence.
