Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join its womens health and obstetrics team inLogan WV.

This full-time permanent position provides an exciting opportunity to deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a supportive patient-focused environment. The CNM will work closely with OB/GYN physicians nurses and allied health professionals to ensure safe evidence-based and compassionate care for women throughout all stages of life.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal intrapartum postpartum and gynecologic care for women of all ages.

  • Conduct routine well-woman exams contraceptive counseling and family planning services.

  • Manage normal pregnancies and deliveries collaborating with OB/GYN physicians for high-risk cases.

  • Educate patients and families on prenatal care childbirth preparation breastfeeding and newborn care.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Participate in on-call coverage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

  • Engage in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program (MSN or DNP).
Licensure & Certification: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license; eligible for West Virginia licensure.
Experience: Prior experience in obstetrics or womens health preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
Skills: Strong clinical judgment communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on compassionate patient-centered care.
