We are hiring for our client a leading civil engineering company based in Omagh who is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial management of their projects. Play a key role in the efficient and cost-effective management of resources materials and finances from tendering through to final account.

The Role:

• Lead the delivery of commercial management services for all tendering and projects.
• Prepare timely internal commercial reporting including monthly CVRs and project cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
• Manage procurement processes including negotiation with clients suppliers and subcontractors.
• Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts ensuring timely payment and final account agreement.
• Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues and ensure the accurate preparation of valuations and payment applications.

The Person:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Construction-related discipline with commercial experience.
• 5 - 10 years experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Needs to have experience within Civil Engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction costs budgeting and financial analysis.
• Proficient in contract administration tendering procurement and cost management.
• Excellent communication negotiation and time management skills.
• Full driving licence and CSR / SafePass Card.
