Hands-on work on a heavy civil construction project for the St. Bernard Neighborhood Playground Stormwater Management Project (HUD Section 3 Project 4429) located at Willie Hall Playground1101 Milton St. New Orleans LA 70122.

This position supports a HUD-funded project subject to Section 3 hiring and reporting requirements. Individuals meeting the HUD low-income limit ($43900 annually for the New Orleans area) public housing residents or YouthBuild participants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Note: This is a HUD Section 3 project. Individuals meeting Section 3 income or residency criteria will receive priority consideration in accordance with federal guidelines.

Job requirements

Requirements:

18 years or older
Valid drivers license and TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
Reliable transportation and steel-toe boots
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
Positive attitude and team mentality
