Overview:
Augustine Angels seeks a Board-Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist to provide full-time onsite support to the VA Maryland Health Care System. The ideal candidate is a hands-on clinical physicist with strong QA planning and patient-safety expertise.
Augustine Angels seeks a Board-Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist to provide full-time onsite support to the VA Maryland Health Care System. The ideal candidate is a hands-on clinical physicist with strong QA planning and patient-safety expertise.
Key Duties:
- Perform patient-specific QA chart checks and treatment plan verification.
- Support daily clinical operations including IMRT VMAT SRS and SBRT.
- Maintain and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment.
- Collaborate closely with dosimetrists therapists and radiation oncologists.
- Ensure compliance with all VA and NRC standards.
Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related field.
- ABR or ABMP Board Certification (or board-eligible).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in therapeutic medical physics.
- U.S. citizen eligible for federal background investigation.

Compensation: $140.00 per hour
