Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time psychiatrist. Applicants interested in working less than full-time but at least 75% time will also be considered. This faculty member will primarily work in the outpatient setting. Work will include face-to-face care in clinic as well as virtual care delivered from the clinic or from home. The primary population served will be a general adult psychiatric population. Applicants with expertise (or willingness to develop expertise) in treating adults with ADHD and/or adults with developmental disabilities will be especially competitive. Additionally work may include teaching and supervision of fellows residents medical students and other trainees from a variety of disciplines. There will be participation in the department call schedule. Service on appropriate department and medical school committees may also be a part of this role. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.
