Job Summary
The Tidy Queens is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at a premier outpatient surgical this role youll play a critical part in ensuring a clean sanitary and safe environment for patients and staff by following strict healthcare cleaning protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of operating rooms pre-op/post-op areas and restrooms
- Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning logs
- Follow all health and safety standards including those specific to healthcare environments
- Handle biohazard disposal in accordance with OSHA and CNACC guidelines
- Communicate any maintenance or safety concerns to site supervisors
Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial experience in a medical or surgical facility is preferred
- Certification in Perioperative Cleaning and CNACC (preferred or willing to train)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow detailed checklists and site-specific protocols
- Must pass a background check and health screening
Compensation: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
