Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeper) - Surgery Center
Full-Time Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-6:30 PM No weekends or holidays
Contract:13 weeks
Pay Rate:$15.50/hour for local candidates
Location: Geneva NY
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide to join our Surgical Services team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for our patients visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize assigned areas including patient rooms restrooms furniture and fixtures.
- Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as burnishers auto scrubbers and vacuums.
- Follow all Infection Control PPE and safety protocols.
- Properly use and dispense cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Remove trash and linen promptly and restock supplies as needed.
- Respond to emergency calls and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
- Preferred: Previous hospital housekeeping experience
- Licenses/Certifications:None required
