As the Associate Director of Product Design you will play a critical role in shaping the design vision and strategy for our products. You will lead a team of talented designers foster a culture of creativity and innovation and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create outstanding user experiences. Your expertise and leadership will drive the success of our product design efforts.
What you will do :
- Lead and mentor a team of product designers providing guidance support and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
- Work closely with the leadership to define and execute the design vision strategy and goals for the organization
- Oversee the design process from concept to execution ensuring the development of user-centered visually appealing and functional product designs.
- Collaborate with product managers engineers and other stakeholders to align design efforts with overall product goals and timelines
- Utilize user research and feedback to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centric approach
- Maintain high design standards and drive continuous improvement in design quality and innovation
- Manage multiple design projects set priorities and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends design tools and technologies to ensure the design team is using the best available resources
What you should have :
- Bachelors degree in Design Graphic Design or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- 10 years of professional experience in product design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design.
- 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a design team.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite Sketch Figma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles user research and usability testing.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative thinking with strong project management skills
