Provides direct executive level and general administrative and secretarial support services to Physician Health Care Service Leaders of Emergency Medicine who have oversight of 100 Faculty and Providers. The incumbent must have the ability to function with a high degree of confidentiality to handle a variety of independent projects and assignments and to complete assignments with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree in business office management or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Extensive training in transcription word processing and associated computer skills (e-mail systems presentation/database/spreadsheet software). Excellent typing skills (70 wpm). Five years office experience to develop skills necessary to deal effectively with senior management.
WORK ARRANGEMENT:
This position requires 100% on-site presence in the office. Employee shuttle transportation to the UVM Medical Center is provided from a satellite parking lot.
