GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Wyoming Veterans Home is seeking a motivated LPN to provide quality health care to persons with mental health dementia and medical needs in a home-like setting. Our mission is to stabilize and help the persons we care for attain and maintain their highest functional level. This is a part-time position.

PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to individuals with nursing experience in long-term care and a current unencumbered Wyoming RN license or those who are eligible for licensure in Wyoming.

KNOWLEDGE:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associates Degree (typically in Nursing)
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of an LPN
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Nursing) with acquired knowledge at the level of an LPN
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wyoming
