Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in modern web technologies to play a crucial role in shaping the future of Wixs frontend this role you will develop high-performance scalable and maintainable web applications for rendering sites on our next-generation platform. A key aspect of this role is to leverage emerging technologies including AI to enhance both engineering productivity and the AI-driven optimization of platform your day-to-day you will:
Impact hundreds of millions of users with our platform that is responsible for rendering all Wix users websites
Design develop and maintain scalable and performant web applications
Explore and integrate AI tools to streamline development automate tasks and improve code quality
Research and implement cutting-edge web technologies with a focus on solutions to boost performance scalability maintainability and AI-driven output optimization
Contribute to the development of our next-generation web platform focusing on building an architecture that effectively supports advanced technologies
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in software engineering and system design
Proven expertise in building large-scale applications
Strong proficiency in modern web technologies including JavaScript TypeScript
Deep knowledge of design patterns data structures and algorithms
Ability to lead complex technical projects and balance trade-offs
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a proactive mindset
A desire to contribute to an evolving AI-ready platform and champion the adoption of valuable new technologies within the team is key

Our systems handle the complex process of delivering these websites across various platforms with a strong focus on ensuring optimal performance. We develop solutions that are critical to Wix impacting both Wix users and the people who visit those sites. Our priorities include performance reliability integration with company-wide projects rapid development cycles and continuous product improvement with the addition of new features.
