Job Summary

The Toronto Blue Jays are hiring for the 2026 season!

Reporting to the Manager(s) Field Operations the Field Operations Attendant is a generallabourrole that willassistwith the installation and maintenance of the baseball field at Rogers Centre ensuring it meets MLB standards. They will alsoassistin the installation of signage backstop nets foul polesmaintainstadium seats and convert field for other events. The Field Operations Attendant will be part of a team working towardsestablishinga best-in-class field for the playing of Major League Baseball.

Please note that these are seasonal roles aligned with the baseball and Rogers Centre events schedule spanning from approximately Februaryto November 2026.

This is a part-time contract positionwith the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

General labour
Assistwith the installation and maintenance of the baseball field to Major League Baseballs specifications
Assistwith the conversion of the stadium into and out of concert/event mode
Assistwith the installation and maintenance of backstop netting foul poles batting practice screens and pitching machines
Work collaboratively with other departments asrequired
Assistwith set-up and tear down of promotional signage and equipment for ceremonies orspecial events
Grooming of the field during baseball games
Assistwith the loading and unloading of equipment as needed
Participation in promotions commercials media events as needed
Successful completion of various internal health and safety training
Documenting and reporting all incidents major and minor
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be available to work home games (evenings weekends and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalentrequired
Must be a skilled equipment operator with current certificates for:
A valid drivers license is considered an asset
Ability to lift 23kg/50lbs withoutassistance
Ability to stand forlong periodsof time; bend stretch engage in repetitive motions push; pull and carry items (tools bags of clay)
Ability to run up to 100 yards
Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
Must be detail-oriented
A team player who willestablishand maintain strong relationships with internal staff to reach desired results
Effective communication skills
Must be able to multi-task and meet required deadlines
