Job Summary
What You Get To Do:
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in our residential programs!
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will support our persons served with activities that focus on increasing their independence. As a Direct Support Professional you will work with the person served to provide coaching supervision and role modeling life skills. The job may also include transportation medication administration meal preparation /or and assistance with personal cares.
Qualifications :
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Employees must be at least 18 years of age per Oregon State Administrative Rules
- Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- Valid Drivers License is required and access to a reliable vehicle
- Good communication is key in this role. Youll rely on your reading writing and communication skills to document care follow support plans and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
Successful candidates will be required to meet all Oregon State Department of Human Services requirements
