Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in this role you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.
- Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
- Apply hot and cold therapy treatments under therapist supervision
- Welcome and guide patients through their appointment process
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Maintain a clean organized and safe clinical environment
- Handle basic administrative tasks including phone calls and patient documentation
- Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists
- Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy equipment
- Assist patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred (1 years)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
- Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and documentation
- Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety protocols
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and terminology
Additional Information :
Employment Type: Part-Time
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15 -$16 hourly. Salary is based on various factors including relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography. Medical dental vision 401(k) paid time off and other benefits are also available subject to the terms of the Companys plan.
